  • New enough, long enough, well referenced, neutrally written, no close paraphrasing seen. Image is excellent and it and all other images in article are freely licensed. The hooks, though, are hard to read as they are full of numbers. Are the actual numbers of adult male players really necessary in these hooks? QPQ done. Yoninah (talk) 20:18, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
Heh - but, but ... numbers are wonderful! Can you tell I'm an engineer? I couldn't think of a better way to convey how unusual this is without numbers. Or do you think (ALT2) "... that 9-year-old Dana Fischer (pictured) advanced to Day Two of a Magic: The Gathering Grand Prix over hundreds of mostly adult male players?" is better? That hasn't got as many numbers in it! If you honestly think that's better, I could accept it. --GRuban (talk) 14:52, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Thank you. But getting to Day 2 means she didn't advance any further. I think ALT1 sounds like more of an achievement. Could we pare that down to:
  • ALT1a: ... that 9-year-old Dana Fischer (pictured) became the youngest winner of a cash prize at a Magic: The Gathering Grand Prix, beating over 94% of mostly adult male players? Yoninah (talk) 15:58, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
Sure. What if we replace "over" with " the"? ALT1b: ... that 9-year-old Dana Fischer (pictured) became the youngest winner of a cash prize at a Magic: The Gathering Grand Prix, beating 94% of the mostly adult male players? --GRuban (talk) 19:51, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
  • @GRuban: yes, let's go with that. Please take care of the "citation needed" tag in the article and then we'll be good to go. Yoninah (talk) 20:49, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Done; thank you! --GRuban (talk) 21:15, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Thanks. ALT1b good to go. Yoninah (talk) 22:22, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
