Haidoterminus

[edit]

Haidoterminus cippus holotype

  • ... that the amber entombing the extinct ant Haidoterminus cippus (pictured) was preserved in a lagoon or saltwater marsh?

  • Article is new, long enough, image is free. All paragraphs have citations to a single off-line source, which is also the source for the hook. One question: It seems unusual that the link in the hook says 'Haidoterminus cippus', yet the link has a redirect which takes the reader to an article titled merely 'Haidoterminus'. Could you clarify the reason for that? NinaGreen (talk) 03:32, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
  • The guidelines for WP:Palaeontology and for WP:Tree of life are to have a combined genus/species article when dealing with monotypic taxa. In addition WP:Palaeontology guidelines are to have only a genus level article for fossil taxa older then the Pliocene (in general).--Kevmin § 03:37, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
OK! Thanks! Good to go. NinaGreen (talk) 03:51, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
