New, long enough, within policy, copyvio check is down, waiting on QPQ. Neat little article. Travel guides typically aren't reliable for history, especially for facts of such magnitude. Are you able to source the fact in a non-tourist guide? The picture is spectacular. (It's since been changed to cc-by-nc-nd, it's so good.) czar · · 03:50, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
- I'm of the same mindset with travel guides, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any other en lang source for that statement. Let me know if you want me to come up with an ALT. - I spent some time attempting to confirm the fact, and I'm empty-handed. A shame, since it would be interesting. But if true, it's notable enough that it should appear in a more reliable source. Perhaps you can ask the authors how they determined the superlative? Until then, I recommend striking that source and its associated facts from the article as unreliable, and we'll try again with an ALT tomorrow. czar · · 07:14, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
