Colour scheme

[edit]

When adding the Henning Bahs Award to this template a few days back in this diff, I defaulted the colour scheme and left a edit summary about it. The result made the template look like this:

I notice that template creator within 2 hours in this diff reinserted their original choice of colour, making the template look like this:

In anticipation of a long needed copy-editing of pages in Category:Bodil Awards I believe it is high time to discuss the merits of the colour scheme, and I invite template creator to motivate their preferred version and other editors to voice their opinion. -- Sam Sing! 11:59, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

As my previous post 20 days ago has not generated further discussion a change of colour scheme can be presumed to be non-controversial, and I will go on to apply #EEDD82 for the backgound, making the template look like this:

The colour #EEDD82 is used in {{Infobox film awards}}. -- Sam Sailor Talk! 19:51, 1 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I missed your comment in the first place (I tend to gorget checking the talk page since they are unfortunately rarely used on Denmark-related pages within my areas of interests due to the low number of contributors. I don't care what colour is used but I think it is useful with a consistant colour scheme which visually distinguishes the Bodil Awards pages from the Robert Awards pages. I'm not sure why you have a problem with the choise of colour since it is no different from the one used on the British Academy Film Awards nav bar, cf. for instance 67th British Academy Film Awards. I will be just as happy with another colour but think it would be preferable to use different colours for the two major Danish film awards.Ramblersen (talk) 15:14, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I second the use of different colours for Bodils and Roberts. -- Sam Sailor Talk! 15:00, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
But what about using the same colour on the Bodil Awards nav bar as is used as background colour for the winners in the tables of Bodil Awards nominees and winners? I prefer a consistant clolour scheme for the Bodil Awards but you changed #BDB76B to on the #EEDD82, does that mean that you still think the nav bar should be different from the tables?Ramblersen (talk) 15:05, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm slightly confused. You have said on Talk:68th Bodil Awards 16 minutes prior to the above message that you were fine with sticking with lists rather than the two-columns tables. Should we keep the tables discussion over there to avoid fragmentation? -- Sam Sailor Talk! 20:18, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I am, I was referring the lists of winers on the category-based pages such as Bodil Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and not the ceremony-based pages. Sorry for not making that clear.Ramblersen (talk) 23:51, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, understood. So you want tables in some but not in others? If tables are retained based on their merits, I'd suggest using #EEDD82 in them as well. -- Sam Sailor Talk! 15:58, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
