Fields
[edit]Can you include an optional field for a description of the desired diagram? Then the requests will be tied together and won't be confused by further talk page discussion, etc. — Omegatron 21:12, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- A subcategory scheme would be good too - the category is getting pretty large. Something like {{reqdiagram|chemistry}} for example. Richard001 07:12, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
- That sounds like a good idea. It seems like a fair amount of architecture articles use this template, and perhaps a separate template (e.g., "reqarchitectdiagram") could be created for that function. GracenotesT §
- I've just added a means of specifying the subject of the diagram. Many of the transclusions I've found in articles appear in specific sections, and moving them to the talk page with the same requesting detail is a useful function. GracenotesT § 18:46, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Use Template:Ambox?
[edit]What are people's thoughts on using Template:Ambox as a base for this template? I personally like the way ambox templates look. --Romanski 23:06, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ambox is intended for templates that are placed on articles. This template is placed on talk pages and is formatted with a style consistent with other talk page templates. Pagrashtak 04:46, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Animated diagram
[edit]Would like to be able to use this template to request an animated diagram. Tempshill (talk) 21:59, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
Talk page
[edit]This template should go to a talk page, not the article page, right? Shouldn't this be mentioned in the documentation?--ospalh (talk) 10:14, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
- Done Correct. It's mentioned now and the 20 or so pages that transcluded it in the article namespace have been fixed. —Mrwojo (talk) 04:23, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
