The long country chart only uses UNODC numbers. Anything else will be reverted. Please see the UNODC reference for the Global Study on Homicide. Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format.". Is there a consensus anywhere to only use that source? I'm not involved with this article at all, but as a Template Editor I'm inclined to believe that there is consensus for some sort of editnotice to this effect. The article has included the phrase "Note. Only data from the UNODC source is used for this main table. Please do not add data from other sources." since at least November 2015, and it was included as a hidden comment in the article long before that (I'm not sure exactly how long, since WikiBlame doesn't seem to search commented out text). The fact that it has lasted in the article for that long seems to indicate that there is at least implicit consensus for it. However, I use the text and reference from the article:

Check the box to open in a new tab so that the table is created without the intrusive sidebar. It takes awhile to load, and there may be no indicator at first. Save the page to save future loading time. At the bottom of all is this: "Note: data were updated on 18 May 2016 and supersede data published in the Global Study on Homicide 2013".

The article has been in the current format since around 2012. With "UNODC" in the titles of the charts. See this 2012 revision. And there has been a note in the article about using only UNODC data since at least April 2015. See this April 2015 revision. I added a background color, and bold text, to the banner:
