Changes to this template

[edit]

My big complaint is that in general relativity, gravitation is not due to a force. Indeed, that is why the term "interaction" is used in the article fundamental interaction. Since these are often called the "four forces" I have retained the heading, but with the word "forces" in quotes to warn people of the issue. If others would like the heading to read "fundamental interaction of physics", I can certainly support that. However, in that case, we should rename this template accordingly. --EMS | Talk 03:43, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We also need to cite the nuclear force because it might not be as fundamental as the other three, it is on par with gravity. As a practical matter, a navbox with only four links under these conditions is kind of silly. Orange Knight of Passion (talk) 11:41, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Electroweak interaction

[edit]

Should the Electroweak interaction be included with electromagnetism and the weak interaction as sub-interactions of it? Also should fundamental and residual strong force be included as sub-interactions of the strong interaction like they are on the Fundamental interaction article?
