The periodic table has a lot of mistakes. For example, Ta and Cm are not alkali metals and Hf and Am are not noble gases are to just name a few. Can you please fix all of the mistakes? 75.67.58.188 (talk) 12:33, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 18:12, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion to mainly switch to a compact 18-column format and make all en:Wiki templates of this sort consistent[edit]

Just in case you watch this page but not the one for the periodic table itself, please be aware that there is a current discussion which, if successful in reaching a consensus, would largely replace this template with a new 18-column compact template (to make it easier to click cells and give extra information). You can see the issue particularly at any infobox for an element: compare Neon, for example, where this template is used for the infobox and at the bottom of the article. Please make any comments there, not here. Michael D. Turnbull (talk) 17:26, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
