why is there so many red links.

organization of transit agencies

[edit]

does anyone think that these transit agencies should be organized by county since there is 10 counties in southern California.Javiern (talk) 00:31, 11 December 2009 (UTC) oh there is more of them but i dont remember the names. will have to look for rest. so prepare yourself for red links[reply]

could be set up by how many passengers per year too75.28.111.32 (talk) 23:31, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My fingers hurt

[edit]

Sorted by county. ~ Butros (talk) 10:00, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for sorting the transit systems75.25.14.200 (talk) 02:28, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

college shuttle systems

[edit]

should the university shuttle systems be included as well i know that cal poly has 4 routes that go around its campus as well as 2 routes that shuttle people between the metrolink stations75.25.14.200 (talk) 02:28, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a system map for another region that we could look at as a guide? Butros (talk) 18:03, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
i know that cal poly at pomona has a system map[1] and [2]its an interactive one. although it does not show the 2 routes that head towards the metrolink stations75.30.124.54 (talk) 04:16, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
santa monica college also has a system map[3]
uci has multiple maps of its shuttles[4],[5],

[6], and [7]this one takes you from the main campus to the medical center but it does not show the map 75.30.124.54 (talk) 04:50, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ucla also has a shuttle system [8] and so does usc[9]. these are the only ones that i know of that have their own transit systems on campus75.30.124.54 (talk) 04:50, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
that seems like a good ideaJaviern (talk) 19:14, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Before listing these shuttle systems, it would probably a good idea to create content about them on the relevant university articles. --TorriTorri(Talk to me!) 20:16, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

short rail transit

[edit]

should both Angels Flight and Port of LA Waterfront Red Car be added to the template. they are both a form of transportation.Javiern (talk) 05:36, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I can't think of any reason why not. --TorriTorri(Talk to me!) 06:00, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Should VISTA and LA Metro be listed as multi-county or as they are?

[edit]

VISTA has one route that goes to the Warner Center (LA County) and LA Metro has at least one route that goes to Thousand Oaks (Ventura County). Is this enough that they should be listed as multi-county agencies? 71.109.146.199 (talk) 04:59, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

no because those buses are connector lines to other transit systems. they do not server the region--108.184.111.56 (talk) 07:21, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Greyhound? Trailways?

[edit]

Are there still Greyhound and Trailways buses serving Los Angeles? I seem to remember seeing a Greyhound on the 101 in Ventura County a few years ago that was going between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Should these be listed?71.109.146.199 (talk) 05:11, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
