The Bijolia Rock inscription date back to V.S. 1226 (1170 AD), issued during the reign of Someshvara. Its importance comes from the fact that it throws a new light on the early history of the Chahamana dynasty.

It has 30 lines and 90 verses. In various verses prasie has been offered:-

Vesre 2: Risabhnatha, the first Jain Tirthankara Verse 3: Shantinatha (16th Tirthankara) Verse 5: Parshvanatha (23rd Tirthankara) Verse 6: Mahavira, 24th and last Tirthankara
