Joel Campbell[edit]
Joel Nathaniel Campbell Samuels (born 26 June 1992) is a Costa Rican professional soccer player. He currently plays for Spanish side, Real Betis on loan from Arsenal, and the Costa Rica National team. Campbell’s preferred position is forward but is also comfortable being deployed on the wings.
History[edit]
Campbell joined Arsenal in 2011, and has since been loaned out 6 times to 5 different clubs including: Lorient, Olympiacos, Villareal, Sporting CP, and Betis in 2012 and 2017. Campbell has also featured on the Costa Rican National team scoring 14 goals in his 50 starts for los Ticos.
Personal Life[edit]
Campbell is the son of Humberto Campbell and Roxana Samuels. He has three siblings; Nekisha, Humberto and Katherine. He and his relationship partner, Maria Fernanda Cascante, have a daughter named Brianna.
