Rob A. Williams

Rob A. Williams (born 29th September, 1978) is a televisual archive consultant, European and Satellite Television expert, writer, performer and broadcaster.

His work includes working on the Objective Productions series 'It Was Alright in the...' as a archive consultant to the production team, a performer on the ITV2 comedy series 'Gagging for It' (2002), television reviewer for the Portsmouth News and as a co-presenter on the Podnose podcast 'The Sitcom Club'.

Early Life and Career Born in Portsmouth in 1978, he first attended Futcher School from September 1983 and July 1990 before moving onto his Secondary School, Portchester Community School between September 1990 and July 1995. After this following a spell attending South Downs College in late 1995 and 1996, he became a comedy writer supplying material to Iain Lee on both LBC and Absolute Radio plus also regular appearances on his programmes during the 'Triple M' section of the show playing various characters. Also he appeared on the ITV2 comedy and sketch show 'Gagging For It' in 2002.

From this, he became a co-partner in the Televisual Cabbage Youtube channel making comedy videos and co-producing a pop video for the local band, The Armchair Poets, '21 Days'.

In 2014, Williams started appearing on the podcast 'The Sitcom Club', reviewing and exploring sitcoms past and present and in 2015 was an archive consultant on the television series 'It Was Alright in the...'.

Interests

He is a Portsmouth F.C. fan and has been a mascot for both the football team and the now defunct basketball team.
