Rubber Ducks Airsoft[1] is a team based in the North East of Scotland that participate in the Airsoft sport. Formed in 2008 they comprise of around 10 dedicated members that compete together where possible. The teams selected camouflage is MultiCam - they use this camouflage as it is one of the most effective in all environments. The British Army have since adopted the newest version know as MTP. The team plays locally in the North East of Scotland on private land and competes regularly in larger events in Dundee, Livingstone and Catterick. Along side the team is usually two other Airsoft teams known as Der Korps and Awesome Team 5.
Local Site[edit]
The Rubber Ducks play locally in Methlick near Ellon. The land is private and not open to the public. There are two main areas:
The Farm
Mainly CQB style of play here involving a courtyard, small barn, large barn and dirt road. Great for smaller team games or frantic large teams.
The Hoche
The woodland area consists of large open field with a tree line on either side, one following the stream. An old Mill usually plays as a HQ in Attack & Defend game types, also the bushes that run parallel house some CQB and sniper territory. Great for large team games.
Camouflage[edit]
MultiCam is the Rubber Ducks official camouflage and has recent been adopted by the British Army.
