St. Croix River (Wisconsin–Minnesota) Two public parks on the Minnesota side of this "national scenic" river remain unlisted. They serve the Twin Cities Metropolitan areas as well as those cities and towns surrounding them. They are: "Lake St. Croix Beach" located in the City of Lake St. Croix Beach, MN; and "Lane's Sunset Park Beach" located in the City of St. Mary's Point, MN. Both river parks are on this designated national scenic riverway, and are currently administered by their respective cities and fall under the purview of the National Parks Service.

Vigilant public awareness of these sections of public river are of importance to their ecological maintenance and continued public existence. "Lane's Sunset Park" was dedicated to the "public generally" on 18 August 1925 by Ludwig and Katharina Mullner (husband and wife); its dedication as well as its (Section, Township and Range Maps) resides in the Washington County MN Recorder's Office under "dedication #701".
