UBC Okanagan, Fountain[edit]

The Fountain.

UBC Okanagan's fountain, located at the heart of the campus, serves as both a major focal point of the campus as well as a major hub of pedestrian traffic.

Seasons[edit]

The Fountain only takes on it's full beauty during the warmer summer months. It is during this time when the pool is full of water and the grass surrounding it is both lush and green. If one is lucky they may even find a Canadian Goose swimming. During the colder months, especially during the winter, the fountain is emptied, with the only type of water to be found in it being snow.

Seasonal Beauty
Summer Good
Winter Bad

Water Quality[edit]

When the Fountain is full, water quality may vary. This appears to depend both on the purity of the water that flows down from it's higher ledge as well as the cleanliness of the pool beneath. The Fountain is at its peak quality right after its has been emptied and cleaned.
