PERSONAL Christopher Bramble is an American playwright and poet. He is the author of three plays dealing with biblical sagas and Shakespeare. Christopher, or "Chris" as he is called, was born July 23, 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His father is a retired government Personnel Management director, and his mother a retired school teacher. They currently reside in San Diego, CA.

SCHOOL Chris received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature in 2002. During his early stints in school he learned his trade as both a writer and an actor. Soon after, he developed his knack for story writing in the form of poetry and theater. He was especially taken to the communicative speech used in the writings of Shakespeare, Marlowe, and Ben Jonson in the late 16th and early 17th Centuries. In addition to this, he developed the theory of myth being the possible untold story of many fictional stories. He called it the unsubstantiated, or unproven truth.

THE THEORY An example of the "unproven truth" theory is as such: The character we call Robin Hood created a myth for himself in order to counter the taxation void of any purpose provided by King John (1200-1216.) The story of who the real Robin was, his actions, and his purpose, grew to a large notoriety. So large in fact that many tall tales began to be told of him. These tall tales survived long after his death and even exceeded his fame. They became so large that we are left to wonder if he even existed at all.

THE WORKS In 2011, Chris published his first work - Jerusalem. It is the story of the last 22 years [609-587 BC] before the city falls to the Chaldeans of Babylon. Five kings lead a nation into despair, disobedience, and captivity. The prophet Jeremiah works in vain to do the Lord's work, and is imprisoned for his effort. Finally, the city is burned to the ground by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. The "untold truth" of the story [derived from the Bible] tells a story the bible does not. The story attempts to answer the questions pertaining to the historical nature of the fall. In general, the biblical and other historical texts tend to tell only the story as a whole, but leaving out the finally woven details. "Jerusalem" attempts to present those details. It must be noted that the book is considered a work of fiction.

Atonement - book number two tells the story of Lucifer and his diabolical scheme to take man away from God. He does this by first bringing "sin" to the Garden of Eden. Eve first falls, and Adam follows believing he has no choice. This also brings about the eventual death of man. This is proven no better than by Cain's murder of Abel. Lucifer's plan seems to have been a success. God cannot tolerate the least amount of sin - and so, refuses man's return to Heaven. But God counters with the plan that one sinless life could mediate his soul and that of man's. That one is Jesus the Christ, and his Plan of Salvation. Jesus gives man the greatest gift of all - the Atonement. The story is based both on Milton's Paradise Lost, and the New Testament. It is Milton's work that presents to us the "untold truth."

Laertes in France - is an antithesis of Shakespeare's "Hamlet." Laertes leaves Elsinore with the King's blessing, and returns to France. There he reunites with good friend Gregory - together they study at a biblical seminar. Soon after Laertes and Gregory meet Bruno,the school "intimador" [a french word meaning "intimidater" or "bully."] However, Laertes stands up to Bruno, and they become friends. But just when it seems all is going well, Laertes receives word that his father and sister are dead. He rushes home to confront the man responsible - the prince himself - Hamlet.
