History
[edit]The state had an expressway system. Each one had two lanes, bypassing major cities. Baldock Freeway between Salem and Portland part of this system. When the Interstates were built, the expressways were rebuilt to accommodate four lanes, two in each direction. http://www.odotmovingahead.com/2006/09/ p5 access 8/30/16
