Hello! I am an evolutionary researcher

  • my published research is on molecular evolution, population genetics, bioinformatics, and phylogenetics
  • I have also published peer-reviewed historical work on the development of evolutionary thinking
  • I am the author of Mutation, Randomness and Evolution, a book that covers the randomness doctrine, the theory of arrival biases, and related topics

I have contributed to wikipedia for many years, mostly on topics very close to my expertise, including molecular evolution, population genetics, the history of evolutionary thinking, and two theories that I helped to propose: Constructive Neutral Evolution and biases in the introduction process (arrival bias) as cause of orientation or direction in evolution.
