David originally from the interior of British Columbia where my parents moved in the middle of the 1960's. I studied stats/calculus, chem/physics plus drafting for a BSc in Architecture before I took an elective in Fortran 77 superminicomputer programming. Then I changed my Major!


August 2021 - Expanding Mount Ōmuro (Shizuoka) slightly and plan to add translated understandable wiki sections & reference to Omuro thatch KAYA grass burning


September - First sci-fi was 1865 Jules Verne (From the Earth to the Moon inspiration for the film A Trip to the Moon)
admittedly via 4 major hollywood films 1954 to 59  :)

 At 11 years old i read short stories by Asimov , Clarke , Heinlein (aka the 3 gods of Sci-Fi circa 1939 to well 1997 )

Grandson of John of Auchmore Farm, Portsoy Banffshire (sept of the Clan Buchanan) and Grandmother (nee Clan Henderson) thru William (born under Empress Victoria) who emigrated to Canada after fighting in THE war and Mary R. (Clan Lamont) from His Majesty George V's province Manitoba.
