My purpose in writing in this sandbox is primariy to document what I have seen with my own eyes and believe to be true regarding a number of paintings and in two cases, paintings on wood, that were taken from Cuba by my paternal grandfather, Nicolas E Meneses, in 1937. They were delivered to his home in Yeadon, Pennsylvania and stored in his basement from that time until his death. I am reserching each painting and writing a book entitled "The Cuban Paintings" which must be a novel based on as much truth as I can substantiate but still, a novel
