Iain MacLaren

I am currently working as the Director of the Centre for Excellence in Learning & Teaching at NUI, Galway in Ireland. I was born in Glasgow and lived there and in Paisley, before moving to Edinburgh to study Astrophysics. Subsequently, I completed a PhD in Cosmology at the University of Durham. I have worked as a researcher, Lecturer, Reader, and Director at the universities of Edinburgh, Durham, West of Scotland, and NUI Galway.
