  • 1800 UTC, – The JTWC reports that Tropical Depression 01W has re-intensified into a tropical storm.[1]

  • 0600 UTC, – The JMA reports that the tropical depression (01W) has intensified into a tropical storm and names it "Yanyan". Simultaneously, they report that it has reached its peak 10-minute sustained wind speeds of 65 km/h (40 mph).[2]
  • 1800 UTC, – The JTWC reports that Tropical Storm Yanyan (01W) has reached its peak one-minute sustained wind speeds of 95 km/h (60 mph).[1]

  • 1200 UTC, – The JMA report that Tropical Storm Yanyan (01W) has weakened into a tropical depression.[2]

  • 0600 UTC, – PAGASA designates Tropical Storm Vamco (13W) as a tropical depression and names it "Manang".[7]
  • 1800 UTC, – The JTWC reports that Tropical Depression Vamco (13W) has intensified into a tropical storm.[6]
  • 1800 UTC, – PAGASA reports that Tropical Depression Lakay has intensified into a tropical storm.[5]

  • 0600 UTC, – The JTWC reports that Tropical Storm Vamco (13W) has make landfall near Wenzhou, China with winds of 65 km/h (40 mph). Simultaneously, they report that it has weakened into a tropical depression.[6]
  • 1200 UTC, – PAGASA reports that Tropical Storm Lakay has moved out of its Area of Responsibility.[5]
  • 1800 UTC, – The JTWC reports that Tropical Depression Vamco (13W) has dissipated over China.[6]
