  • 0000 UTC, (5:00 p.m. PDT; June 15) – Tropical Depression Two-E intensifies into a tropical storm and is named "Adolph".[2]

  • 0000 UTC, (5:00 p.m. PDT; June 16) – Tropical Storm Adolph intensifies into a category one hurricane.[2]
  • 1200 UTC, (5:00 a.m. PDT) – Hurricane Adolph intensifies into a category two hurricane.[2]
  • 1800 UTC, (11:00 a.m. PDT) – Hurricane Adolph intensifies into a category three hurricane.[2]
