My name is Jesse G. Carlock from New Orleans, Louisiana. I was born on January 24, 1953 the 4th of 5 kids born to Victor Carlock and Ruth Olivier Carlock. My mother was a native New Orleanian and my fatherJcarlock (talk) 01:13, 21 February 2010 (UTC) was from Schwartz in northern Louisiana. I was raised in the 9th Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana attending St. Mary of the Angels parochial school and Holy Cross High School. My family moved to Gentilly Terrace section of New Orleans at the start of my teen years. New Orleans and Louisiana is a place you have to experience to appreciate and love. The history, the culture, the people and the food are in your veins that envelopes your entire being and soul. It is more than Mardi Gras, LSU Tigers, crawfish, vodoo and Katrina.
