Hon.Tindi Mwale[edit]

An entrepreneur, philanthropist, politician, leader(Son of the late Major Mwale),trained aeronautics engineer, established entrepreneur, now MP-Butere, chairman and principal strategy officer;Mumare&Tyndy Group Corp. Founder and Patron of Tindi Mwale Foundation, a not for profit organisation targeting community development and empowerment for sustainable socio economics growth of the society.

Early life[edit]

Born Nicholas Scott Tindi Mwale but popularly known as Tindi Mwale was born on 4th November, 1986 in Mumare village,Lunza sub location, Marama West ward, Butere Sub County, Kakamega county, Republic of Kenya. Tindi Mwale is the youngest son of Abel Mwale popularly known as Major Mwale, a distinguished military officer who got to the rank of Major at a young age of 26years (1965–1976) and mama Decima Omusula Mwale,the daughter of Mzee Okotchi ,a marama. His family hails from the Luhya, a Bantu ethnic group. His given name "Tindi" is named after his grandfather. Tindi attended Muluwa Primary school,in butere,Serve academy in Sabatia and Musingu High school in Kakamega. Between 2008 and 2010, he also briefly worked as a an aeronautical engineer at Mission Aviation fellowship,Wilson Airport.Nairobi.

After Musingu High School, Tindi Mwale went on to study Aeronautical Engineering,at Nairobi Technical Training Institute graduating in 2008 with distinctions in KNEC Diploma.He also enrolled at Kenya Methodist University where he studied Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Entrepreneurship.

After a short employment history as an aeronautical engineer at Maf,in 2010 he resigned at the age of 23years and started his own business by registering a company by the name Tyndy International Ltd which specialized in Consultancy and Agribusiness.

He later diversified his business and founded Mumare &Tyndy Group Holdings LLC; MnT Group Holdings is a conglomerate, multidisciplinary organization for real estate ,Investments,engineering,consultancy, building&construction, environment, Resorts&Hotels and Aviation.

Personality and personal life[edit]

Tindi Mwale is widely considered a charismatic leader, he was raised in the Anglican denomination of Christianity; the Anglican church of Kenya.

Tindi Mwale married Moureen Ntinyari Tindi Mwale, a Kenyan lady in 2013. They have two children together: Nicholas Tindi Mwale (B2014)and Adnan Murithii Tindi Mwale(B.2016).

Political Ambition & Leadership.[edit]

In 2015, Tindi Mwale was approached by clan elders and local leaders from Butere and they requested him to vie for the seat of Member of Parliament for Butere Constituency.

Upon several consultations with family members,religion leaders and friends,Tindi Mwale made the decision to vie for the seat in the election Year 2017.

Tindi Mwale mobilised resources,spearheaded organized issue based campaigns using all inclusive campaign secretariat .

On 25th December 2016,(During finals for Tindi Mwale Charity Cup,Tindi Mwale joined Amani National Congress (ANC ) in a ceremony attended by ANC leadership fraternity including the ANC party Leader Hon.Musalia Mudavadi.

Tindi Mwale emerged victorious during the August 8th 2017 elections by garnering 18,235 votes. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) declared Tindi Mwale MP elect and was awarded the certificate of “MP Elect.”

After a months time,Tindi Mwale was sworn in as Member of Parliament (National Assembly). Tindi Mwale is the ANC Parliamentary Group Whip. Tindi Mwale belongs to the Public Investments committee and Energy Committee.

Charity and volunteer work[edit]

Tindi Mwale, started communal work at the age of 15years as a community mobiliser. He assisted NGOs to reach communities in Butere and Mumias.

In 2014,He founded Tindi Mwale Foundation a Not for Profit organisation that concentrates on community empowerment and socio economics well being of the society at large.

Being the patron,Tindi Mwale Foundation has engaged in numerous projects which includes and not limited to the ones listed below.•Facilitated creation of over 1,000 empowerment groups for both youth and women in the community

•Empowered the less fortunate children by paying school fees of over KES 8 million

•Improved learning institutions by improving structures, donating beds, gates and desks.

•Facilitating availability of clean water by digging boreholes
