This article uses archaeological material culture and trade goods to provide context and insights towards economic transactions and interactions between neighboring villages in the Philippines. Junker suggests that the circulation of these trade goods such as porcelains, metals, and ceramics serve as evidence that supports the "Interdependent" Model that was theorized to exist in the settlement patterns of lowland agriculturalists in the Philippines for over 1500 years.[1]
