First of all, let me introduce myself. I have lived for about four years in Malaysia and currently living in Doha, Qatar. I have been roaming around Wikipedia looking for an article that requires editing since September 2009. In my free time, I will go to Wikipedia to read any random article and modify it where necessary. Most of the time I will be at Simple English Wikipedia to expand stub or sub-stub articles and adding redirects. My interest in Wikipedia began on August 2008 where I gradually depended on it to make some of my projects and researches. However it was not until a couple of months ago where I started to feel the need of helping Wikipedia in expanding its articles. Thanks, WikiProjects I am currently active on Wikipedia:WikiProject Qatar mainly adding references and expanding stub articles. Feel free to join the WikiProjects to help it. Picture of the day The martial eagle (Polemaetus bellicosus) is a large eagle native to sub-Saharan Africa. A species of the booted eagle subfamily (Aquilinae), it has feathering over its tarsus. One of the largest and most powerful species of booted eagle, it is a fairly opportunistic predator that varies its prey selection between mammals, birds and reptiles. It is one of a few eagle species known to hunt primarily from a high soar, by stooping on its quarry. Currently, the species is classified as endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. How to find legal photographs and graphics A good photograph, map, or other graphic in an article can help clarify things. If you want one but are stumped, or totally lost about copyright rules, one really good way to find graphics is to type "public domain" into the Google image search window, along with an appropriate key word. An extra benefit is that you have a high probability of finding photographs that are legal under the Wikipedia rules. (Remember to copy down the artist's name and URL for recent photographs labeled "public domain", because you will need the information when you upload the graphic.) Of course, you shouldn't forget to look on the Wikimedia Commons first‍—‌someone may already have done the hard work! (You can use images from the Commons in the same way as local Wikipedia ones.)
