User:Kingsif/DraftList of frequent collaborators of Ryan Murphy
Auteur Ryan Murphy is one of the most prolific American television creators of the 21st century.[1] In his work, he frequently collaborates with fellow writers and producers Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, first working as a creative trio on Glee,[2] as well as a selection of actors including Sarah Paulson; Evan Peters; Lily Rabe; Frances Conroy; Finn Wittrock; Jessica Lange; Dylan McDermott; Angela Bassett; Kathy Bates; Adina Porter; and Darren Criss.[1]
The group of actors with significant roles in multiple Ryan Murphy productions have been dubbed the "Ryan Murphy Universe"[3] or "Murphy-verse".[1] Besides actors and production personnel, other common aspects to Murphy's work include: telling "women's stories", particularly those of older women;[4] having a stereotypical "popular girl" and/or a contrasting underdog;[1][5] criticism of conventional beauty standards and plastic surgery; heightened cinematic aesthetics; the theme of the formation of family units; and specific use of pop music.[5] In 2012, Murphy and Elle used several of his leading ladies to recreate classic horror film posters as fashion shoots.[6]
This series of lists details actors and production crewmembers who have worked with Murphy on more than one unique[a] production.

She then joined the ensemble cast of American Horror Story, portraying various characters (including Susan Atkins) in its different seasons. While on AHS, Paulson portrayed Marcia Clark on American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson; Geraldine Page in Feud; Nurse Ratched in Ratched,[1] for which she was also a producer; and Linda Tripp in American Crime Story: Impeachment.
Murphy gave the People vs. OJ Simpson producers the ultimatum that he would not work on the series if Paulson was not cast as Marcia Clark. Executive producer Brad Simpson said that the working relationship of Murphy and Paulson is like watching a dance, that they "know how to get the best out of each other". Murphy has said of Paulson:[4]
Like me, I think Sarah felt, growing up, that she was a stranger in a strange land and that she didn't have a lot of support, so as somebody who loves her, I just want her to know, 'No, I support you in every way.'
