I'm Lauren, an artist and student living in Dallas, Texas. FYI, I don't like to writing about myself, so here is my shortened biography. I found a niche early on for doting a camera. I built a small business in my early teens, photographing school functions, families and pets. Post high school, I spent a majority of my time networking and traveling, and listening to good live music. In this time, I worked with some talented musicians and artists (Blue October, SouthFM, Zayra) and lent my talent to a dozen albums, print articles, and other forms of media.
After spending a few years touring and photographing across the United States, I returned to school and am currently a full time student majoring in in Emerging Media and Communications at The University of Texas at Dallas. I plan to use her fascination with the fine arts and merge that with a teaching certification in the future. My ultimate goal would be to teach children’s art classes, while also continuing my photography and design business.
When in class, I can usually be found creating memes, cat painting, and scaring my professors out of their chose profession. When not in class, I love to spend my time restoring and repurposing items, crafting, catching up on episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and relaxing at home with my boyfriend David and our fabulous collie, Darby.
