The SS Americas was a british ship built for America Line she would serve as SS Coos Bay but it was renamed to Americas in 1872 during it's first launch. In 1996 it's hull bursted into flames within minutes the ship's bow sunk in the water as it was only 28 feet it was raised and repaired.
