The name "Manzabar" comes from my old D&D in high school. The one time I had no trouble coming up with a name for one of my characters was when creating my first wizard. I called him Manzabar and have been using the name as my online handle ever since.
Besides playing D&D, I also ended up taking a bit of both German and French during high school. After completing my undergraduate degree[1], I ended up spending 2 weeks in Japan. So I also speak a smattering of Japanese, but I cannot read any kanji.
