This user is a medical student.

My name is Max, I am a student of Medicine at Charité (HU-FU), Berlin. I was born in Woltersdorf (Brandenburg), East Germany, and still live there.

I usually contribute anonymously to German, English and French Wikipedias, but the English one now needs registered users for many tasks. I don't usually edit them as much as I do during Semester exam weeks. So, it could be difficult to find me immediately at talk or history pages (sorry in advance).

I finally registered because:

  • The English Wikipedia is just too important to let it become another Britannica.
  • People should be able to find every possible encyclopedic knowledge here.
  • Quantity is sometimes better than unending search for supposed better quality.
  • People who add and create always work more than people who just delete and move.
  • In dubio pro reo: if somebody creates a dubious article, let it there.
Wikipedia is not Britannica!!
Because articles like Jimmy Wales wouldn't ever exist in a 'Purer' Encyclopedia

NOTE: The above reasons are only valid for Social Sciences and Humanities, as well as for Software information, as they are all created or influenced by man. In Sciences, however, a more rigorous approach is needed, against those who want to put their beliefs (such as Creationism) and real Scientific Research side by side.
