Living Green Barrie (incorporated as Environmental Action Barrie) is a charity located in Barrie, Ontario that focuses on the environment. Living Green started as Be Green Barrie and worked with the City through funding from Green Communities. On Earth Day, 2015 Living Green celebrated 25 years.[2][3] Tree planting is one of Living Green's primary projects, along with operating a local thrift store that also gives away free clothing[4], and partnering with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on Fruitshare Barrie.[5]
