Mo Alissa

Self-taught photographer Mo Alissa  first picked up a camera at age twelve. Caught in a whirlwind of travels and endless moves as a child, he needed an artistic outlet to express himself – and to unload the extreme visual stimulus that accompanies his creativity. Mo is known for his mastery of storytelling and his ability to capture raw, natural beauty. Shooting film and digital on location with not only natural light but also works with many flashes, he approaches each shoot like he was making a movie, pushing the model into character. His images evoke feeling of youthful freedom.
