"Ooh I Do" is a song that was co-written by Lynsey De Paul and Barry Blue. Lynsey's version was released as a single (backed with "Nothing Really Lasts Forever") on the Warner Bros. label in May 1974. It became Lynsey's 4th U.K. chart hit [1] in June of that year and also made the top 20 singles charts in the Netherlands and Belgium [2]. Barry blue recorded a version as a track on his self-titled debut album and this version also garnered much radio play. Lynsey's version was very popular in Japan and it was re-released as a CD single in 1993 but it was also covered by Japanese artists "gml" as the third track on their CD single "gml meets union jack" in 1996 as well as more recently by Kojima Mayumi on her 2015 album "Cover Songs" [3].
