Hi there! I'm Purplemountainman. I edit Wikipedia occasionally, and I started in March 2019. I created an account when one day, I was browsing the article Android version history, and I noticed something that I wanted to fix. But, the page was protected for the people who haven't signed into Wikipedia. At that time I didn't feel like setting up an account nor giving out my IP address. Then, after half a year later, I finally decided to make an account. I used to (and still do) edit articles related to tropical cyclones (mainly the Atlantic hurricane season articles), but now I edit articles when I'm browsing through Wikipedia and see fixes I can make. I make a few mistackes ;) along the way. If I make one, please don't hesitate to correct it and tell me in the edit summary in your edit, or on my talk page. My contributions are here, and you can view the few pages I've created here. Also, if you have any questions, feel free to leave a message on my talk page!
A few topics I'm interested in are: anything related to technology (like computers, phones, and video), mathematics, tropical cyclones, and geography.

Each user account has its own watchlist. If you want to easily keep track of an article, you can see the most recent edits by adding it to your watchlist. To do this, simply click the star tab at the top of the page to turn the star blue, and the current page you are viewing will be added to your watchlist. You can add as many pages as you want to your watchlist. To remove it, click on the star again and the star will turn white again.
To see your watchlist click Watchlist at the top of any page of Wikipedia (you must be logged-in).
When naming an article, don't use a hyphen as a substitute for an en dash that properly belongs in the title, for example in Eye–hand span. To aid searching and linking, provide a redirect from the corresponding article title with hyphens in place of en dashes, as in Eye-hand span.
