Bobby Casella (born 1982) is an american author. His book Entry-Level is considered to be Fratire. It is a first person narrative of his exploits as a self-proclaimed "Deranged Young Professional".

Life[edit]

Casella was born in Huntington, WV. His father was in real estate and his mother was a ballet teacher. He was an avid golfer as a child but left the game in high school to focus on football. In high school he attended Culver Military Academy where he was a captain on both the football and lacrosse teams. In college he was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and Men's Lacrosse team at Indiana University. He was also involved in the infamous Shane's World Campus Invasion scandal in 2002 when an adult film was shot in his fraternity house. The story made it to Fox News where Bill O'Reilly recommended that Casella and his fraternity brothers be kicked out of school. Bobby graduated in 2004. Casella also had a minor appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in relation to campus rioting started over the firing of basketball coach Bobby Knight in 2000. Casella claims to have been one of the first protestors on the scene. Casella moved to Los Angeles after college and started his first job which was the basis for the office culture in his writing. He was a "road warrior", spending as much as three weeks a month traveling around the U.S. for his job. He grew an interest in travel and food writing during this time. In 2006 a tragic accident took the life of his younger brother. Bobby quit writing for over year focused on surfing and jogging.
