This is where I(sdgjake) keep track of what I'm currently trying to take pictures of and what I will be working on in the future. You can see my photos at my gallery.
Current subjects
[edit]These are the articles I am currently trying to take pictures for:
- Sioux Falls, South Dakota - I took a few skyline panoramas. I kind of like this one. I'm still trying to get a better one if possible. Still working on the parks.
- South Dakota State Capitol - I have some good pictures that I need to upload. Unforunately the large panorama I tried to create didn't turn out I want to try and retake it some day.
- Freeman, South Dakota - I have some pictures I need to upload.
Upcoming subjects
[edit]These are the articles which I plan on taking pictures for in the near future:
- Great Plains Zoo - I plan on getting some pictures from inside the zoo.
- Canton, South Dakota
- Lincoln County, South Dakota - Trying to get a good shot of the court house in Canton.
- National Register of Historic Places listings in Lincoln County, South Dakota - Most of these are in Canton.
- Harrisburg, South Dakota - I live there for crying out loud.
- Tea, South Dakota - Needs a picture or two.
- Washington Pavillion of Arts and Science - Try and get a good, high detail, panorama shot.
- Hill City, South Dakota - Someone went to the trouble of making that a pretty good article but it still doesn't have a single picture.
- St. Joseph Cathedral (Sioux Falls, South Dakota) - I want to go back and redo my high res picture once they complete their renovations and get rid of the scaffolding and fencing out front. I'd also like to try and get some good pictures from inside, if possible.
Someday if I get time subjects
[edit]These are articles I want to take pictures for but are not a priority or are to far away from where I live to make a dedicated trip to take a picture of it.
- Corn Palace - Deserves a good high res panorama I think.
- Wall Drug - I think it could use a panorama of the front of the store. Probably best to take it during winter though when all of the tourists are gone.
