A village on the banks of the Holy river Ganga in Soraon tehsil of Prayagraj.

Villages economy is largely dependent on agriculture along with other profession such as working labours, small scale business and also some government sector jobs.

Currently the Gram Pradhan(a village representative) is Mahavir Yadav.

On October 2015 the then PHULPUR MP & now deputy CM of UP Keshav Prasad Maurya adopted this village under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana scheme.

Phaphamau is the main market located nearby the village which is well connected through the city.
