Tyrone Christopher Hall is an emerging researcher, Compton International Fellow,<http://www.comptonfoundation.org/fellow10_Tyrone.html> freelance journalist and advocate. Hall, born August 26, 1987, is an international debater who was the highest ranked competitor from Latin America and the Caribbean at the World Universities Debating Championships held in Cork, Ireland in 2009. Hall debated at three WUDCs (Cork 2009; Bangkok 2008; and Vancouver 2007). He captained the team from the University of the West Indies in 2008 and 2009. He's also an essayist who has won numerous essay contests; in November 2010 he won The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA), in collaboration with FARA, Yam-Pukri, CAFAN, AYF, ANAFE, PAFPNET , organized essay writing contest on “Youth and ICTs in Agriculture and Rural Development”- the first activity of the project “Agriculture, Rural Development and Youth in the Information Society” (ARDYIS) initiated by CTA. He produced two documentaries: Pickney Duktah: An Examination of the Lives of Children who work in Jamaica's transportation sector; and The Struggle: A Look at Self-mutilation in the Caribbean. Hall's master's thesis examined the role of communication in crafting environmental impact assessment reports in Jamaica.
