Cuerpo de Bomberos de Pichilemu (English: Pichilemu Fire Bureau) was established in December 4, 1945. Its current Superintendent is Humberto Bonifacio Pavez Cabello.[1]

History[edit]

Pichilemu Fire Bureau was founded in December 4, 1945, and its first directory was constituted by Oscar Jara (Director); Teobaldo Liberona (Chief); Rigoberto Miranda Campos (Lieutenant); Jorge Díaz García (Helper Lieutenant); Orlando Alvarez Jorquera (Secretary); and Augusto Montalva (Treasurer).[2] They held the office until December 8, 1946.[2]

Firefighters of Pichilemu Bureau have fought great fires such as the 2009 La Aguada forest fire,[3]
