Amanda Cosette Myhal (born October 1st, 1992), known professionally as A.C. Jones, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and entertainer signed to independent music label SSM Nashville. Her debut single, “Buses and Trains,” spent twenty weeks on Nashville’s Music Row Country Breakout Chart where it peaked at #33.


PERSONAL LIFE[edit]

Jones was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, nearly 60 miles southeast of Cleveland. She attended Canfield High School before graduating and enrolling at the University of Mount Union where she majored in Biochemistry and graduated Summa cum laude with honors.


MUSIC CAREER[edit]

In February 2017, Jones performed at Country Radio Seminar (CRS) in Nashville, TN under the SSM Nashville label. Jones' signing with SSM Nashville became official in May 2017[1]. Following the signing, Jones performed at the 2017 Vamos Music Festival in Perth, Scotland and, in June 2017, Jones appeared in the SSM Nashville booth at the Fan Fair X during CMA Fest. Jones released her first single under the SSM banner on November 6th, 2017. The song, “Buses and Trains,” made its debut at #76 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart and peaked at #33 after 20 weeks.


CHARITY[edit]

Jones is a supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This comes after Jones’s niece, Norah, was diagnosed at an early age with Type 1 Diabetes.

She has also performed to raise funds and awareness for St. Baldricks (supporting children battling cancer), the Fisher House (supporting American veterans), the Salvation Army of Mahoning County, and is a Partner in Hope with St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
