Quillette[edit]

Hey. If you are the Quillette team, could you please ensure your website is up to date first, before editing the Wikipedia article? Scott Newman is still listed as an associate editor with the publication in Sydney. Because Scott's position as editor is still verifiably sourced to your website, I've reverted the change for now. Once you've updated the website, I'll be happy to self-revert this, just leave a message here or on my talk page when it's done. Thanks :) Sideswipe9th (talk) 00:10, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No, he's not still listed as an associate editor, see the updated Masthead on the front page of the website: https://quillette.com/masthead/. You've linked me to an author's bio, which often go out of date quickly (people change jobs, publish new books, finish their studies). We have 10000s of authors and it's impossible for us to update everyone's bio. 60.242.118.130 (talk) 02:42, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately if you Google "Scott Newman Quillette" his author bio is the first link, not the masthead. You seem to have updated it now, so it's all good. Sorry for the hassle, we just like things to be verifiable here :) Sideswipe9th (talk) 03:23, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. May I ask if you work at Wikipedia or whether you have a connection to Quillette? 60.242.118.130 (talk) 04:24, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
