Lielie kapi

[edit]

Thank you for your note. And I do hope to contribute more to the article--thank you for creating it! There was an exhibit on the cemetery at the time I took the picture I added, I might add that as a separate section. A bit more information was included on the cemetery in the exhibit, but you have all the basics (that burials were to be done outside the city to minimize the plague, the Soviets basically razed it, etc.).
I'm always busy, but I resolved to spend at least part of my 2008 Wiki-time such as it is on improving articles about Latvia which are away from the "controversies." —PētersV (talk) 21:55, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, got your note. The "Office of Mother Earth" exhibit which was installed at the cemetery had a small amount of background information, including that the last burial there was in 1969. I'll poke around for what else I can find. :-) PētersV (talk) 15:20, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of List of landmarks destroyed by Communist run governments

[edit]

I have nominated List of landmarks destroyed by Communist run governments, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of landmarks destroyed by Communist run governments (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 06:13, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Move", don't copy-paste

[edit]

I have reverted the redirect on Ves Petersburg. Pages need to be "moved", not copy-pasted to ensure the integrity of the pages' history and contributors. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 00:39, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dr Böhm's publications

[edit]

I read about Dr Böhm's publications added by you at the Volkovo Cemetery. How can one get his hands on these books? Are they available digitally? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.217.52.58 (talk) 16:07, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
