Fish picture problem

Hi,

The fish picture illustration you uploaded to the HDTV article is misleading, IMO. While I believe you made the illustration to simply show the difference in resolution, the illustration basically states that the fish would look one way on HDTV, and the other way on SDTV; but of course if the fish were imaged on HD and SD video, it would not be a monochrome image, and the images, particularly the SD image, would look much less pixellated than your illustration shows. Another way of stating my issue with this image: The illustration is an unfair comparison; in the illustration, SD looks "much much worse" than HD; whereas in reality it's only "much worse", because of antialiasing. I'd propose that you try the same approach but with antialiased pixels at the borders, in the interest of fairness. Tempshill 08:01, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
