Hi Booku, I could use your help. I took up your suggestion on adding information on goddess Rajeshwari and was able to find a page which is devoted to the goddess and added "Rajeshwari" as a synonym so it is easier to find. I also found the below website for a temple dedicated to the goddess. I want to add this temple to the page but I am not able to find the visual way of editing only "edit source." Do you know how I can move forward? Also there are some useful depictions of goddess Rajeshwari on the below Exotic India webpage. Do you know how I can add it? My apologies for all the questions. Hello, once again I don't have words for your great & timely support & guidance. As suggested by you I used Earwig & replaced a little more grammar & words. While doing so some times I get uncomfortable feeling to compromise grammar & words & dilute impact of original author just for the copyvio sake, I understand there is no other way out.

Any ways as suggested by you, I took article in main name space & just now some one assessed article to 'B' class & I am happy. Almost a year back I added period wise formatting to article Feminism in Pakistan besides created one more article Aurat March coming month some time I will update them if time permits.

SusunW In last week some time I had created a stub article about a Pakistani feminist Sadia Khatri who works on unavailability of public spaces to Pakistani women but due to lack of enough sources left in between.

There was one more feminist Sabeen Mahmud who paid with her life for defending women right of choice, so last couple of days worked on article User:Bookku/Valentine's Day in Pakistan if you can spare some time for this article too I will be obliged.

Next I want to work on more feminist views / perspectives on Hijab day but that will take longer time for me.

My previous article Aurat March has been tagged with "This article provides insufficient context for those unfamiliar with the subject", Which I still need to address. This time I provided context and got tagged for being "essay like". When it comes to human rights my edges are usually sharp; you helped smooth those sharp edges and being encyclopedic. Being unfamiliar helps you in maintaining neutrality too.

At the most I can put in good amount of online research and collation Where as you have got all encyclopedic skills plus will to support and I am very much thankful to you for the same.

Only 2 places I wish if you can revisit

1) At intro paragraph "...supported by merchants who can increase their prices during the week preceding February 14th."

My earlier purpose of mention of 'increase of price' was to indirectly indicate that there is demand in the Market that means it's a popular celebration.

Critics do have different version against commercial establishment benefiting from and supporting the celebrations.

2) Subsection heading "Against" in section "Public reaction" One is we have already covered main against group in detail in 'Antagonism' section. Second is the group suggesting substitution seem to play more of 'escapist' role by employing diversion.

I couldn't think of alternative word for subsection title "Against" as of now, but may be we can explore some different title in days to come.

This type of slogan has also not been the most effective in promoting abortion decriminalization. In countries where it has been decriminalized, feminists knew how to position it as a problem of public health and social exclusion: while wealthy women abort in all safety, humble women die from aborting in conditions of risk. Abortion is more related to a decision about being a mother than to the body and it is pertinent to approach it from there: motherhood cannot be an imposition, it is a very serious decision that requires an endless number of emotional and material conditions. Tackling it from the body, on the other hand, places it as a dispute between individuals and States over the control of that object-body, failing to position ourselves as subjects and questioning the pardon that men enjoy in the matter. This type of language anchored in individualism and the body, in addition, has failed to generate consensus in public opinion - without which politicians hardly risk it - but has generated adverse reactions. And it is that along with neoliberalism we have also seen the resurgence of old traditions and fundamentalisms, a symptom of a failed revolution.

2) Various associate metaphors like 'Damaan', 'Chunari' 'Daaman', 'aanchal' 'chunari', 'Purdah', 'Kangan', 'Payal', 'Kajal' etc. that help describing cultural background of 'Aurat' as women.

Sorry, I am not looking for just dictionary definitions and general information , but as Metaphor associated with Aurat.

Metaphor is defined as "a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable." For example "Daaman" being 'pak' or 'Napak' means here we don't take Daaman literally. Or "Daag/ Spot" in Chunari etc. Or another example would be in old Indian movies show two flowers touching each other instead of Hero Heroin becoming intimate.

And again how these metaphors help express cultural life of Aurat. Few of metaphors will be available in English sources online. I am looking for help from various Indian and Pakistani language sources like Urdu, Sindhi, Hindi literature / drama /movies etc. I suppose those would be available at least to some extent online one will need to take search in those languages.

Searching with Tasawwoor Aurat also gives some Urdu language sources. I am looking for including such information.

Since you asked I will give you few examples. But rather I prefer if one starts from non-English languages, so you can start from native languages and include positive impressions on traditional minds of people better. Feminists agree that South Asian women are represented as "cultural emblem". But they avoid describing what does "Cultural emblem" tasawwoor 'cultural image' means; that meaning needs to be caught from native language literature; we don't find much traditional image relating to 'haya' etc.much in English descriptions where you find it more times it will be critical. You will find usually more of mentions in English are critical. In Wikipedia we have to cover both rather all aspects positive impressions in traditional minds and criticism too. Any ways since you asked I give few example.

• in this one metaphor of 'Suna angan' vis a vis 'tanha aurat' has been analyzed. @Cleopatran Apocalypse: greetings. Personally I would't have issues. But my personal experience on Wikipedia up till now does not make me enthusiastic of that prospect. As you suggest, well linked space is supposed to bring in more authors from diverse fields. But unfortunately I do not find Wikipedia environment friendly enough. Here curators over ride encyclopedic writers, they don't do even curation but only put up intimidating hat note notices and intimidate genuine encyclopedic writers too in various manners.

Curators want articles spick and span right from first moment. Right now article does not have even two paragraphs, they might harass the article like nothing.

Thanks friend. Though I have no taste for the company or the individual who founded it, I generally try to follow the Facebook motto of "move fast and break things." Doesn't always work, but it seems the best way to do things. I wouldn't worry about the haters. Just do good work, do it for fun, and keep doing it! The interest for me in your alerting me to this article is that it is the overarching theme that was tying together some of my recent professional and wikipedia interests, and I didn't quite realize that this was the uniting concept. Regarding the Kithaab on Japanese Wikipedia

I don't remember seeing your name in discussions at Articles for Deletion before, so I'm not sure how familiar you are with its procedures. Basically it goes like this - if you see an article on a topic you think is not notable, you do a ton of work searching for sources, and if nothing useful turns up, you nominate it at AFD and set out a case for why the topic does not belong on Wikipedia. There are borderline cases where the nominator is not certain and is asking the community for consensus. Nominating articles without doing this research, without clearly stating a rationale for deletion, and nominating them while another discussion is going on about the article elsewhere, is not going to win you any friends and may be considered disruptive. It takes a lot of work to nominate an article and if you see something you think ought to be deleted in future, please feel free to ask me for help. Hello greetings, In brief to seek inputs from wider audience. Since editors to Superstition in Judaism were limited I selected few from history of Template:Superstition (Where I found you had edited template) to include users with unknown or limited interest and few from Talk:Superstition in neutral fashion (I included even those were opposed to superstition related article and were deletionist and also those who supported superstition related articles or did some edit.

If one selects people having high interest then also is objectionable for not being neutral enough. If one cares for neutrality and includes users with limited interest then like you they can get angry.

I wanted to get back to you regarding this redirect's discussion but got busy with studies as educational institutions were reopened for sometime in the country but discussion got closed before that. From past couple of weeks I wanted to clarify myself about what you complained in that discussion over pointing you as Indian editor and presuming antecedents on your part and phishing to compromise your privacy. So let me be straight, it was not even directed towards you. I just said it in general since most of the editors editing those articles then were seemingly Indians and their tone was not encyclopedic and NPOV was disregarded and articles were burdened. Sindh Police article afterwards was cleaned by many editors and even after your last edit on it, some editors further cleaned, copyedited and removed unsourced things. So I actually was pointing towards those editors who burdened that article unfairly and it was not at all specfically directed towards you as you assumed on your own. I just asserted on the point in that discussion about the redirect that it is not the actual event to where it is redirected. This was just the part of a bigger picture which happened at Mazar-e-Quaid. Moreover it was too early and we should wait for details to come after which it could be updated. There was an inquiry and its report came which clarified the picture as per which it could be updated in a better way. And by the way in the same discussion you too not one time but many times pointed me out and labeled me as supporter of Pakistani deep state, promoting Armed Forces' narrative, wisher of soft censors and giving impression that no one is credible, reliable or independent in Pakistan, which was extremely irresponsive on part of an editor like you but I gave it a pass.

@Vice regent: IMO any consensus building on such topics will be long drawn process so at the moment in first round of discussion, I wish people become aware that there is some thing to look into. It became common also because I started discussing from village pump side and will be posting to one or two more common discussion places. After taking note of first round of discussion in second or third round we can make specific proposal. Basically I am not in any hurry.

The interesting part is I don't know if I am too slow in making the case. I started taking notes long back when one of the article name was Muslim dietary laws and by the time I started discussing article name is already changed.

Another comment: the sources all talk about the assault as taking place in Greater Iqbal Park, with no mention of the tower, so it appears that the assault should either be mentioned in the article about the park, or should be a separate article, mentioned and linked from the park article. The victim said that she was at the Minar-e-Pakistan with her friends to make a video for her YouTube channel when suddenly more than 300 to 400 men attacked them. The victim said when she and her friends tried to get away from the crowd, the guards at the Minar opened the gate of the fence and they went inside..The men jumped over the fence and surged towards us and started...

Even Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan referred incidence in his speech as Minar-e-Pakistan incidence.

It is almost a two hour thing so more details will emerge as police investigation and court cases move forward. Again Pakistan does have track record of victim blaming and also window dressing media but same time over a period of time scholarly academic books also keep coming up and visible written and street activism from women's movements and civil society. so let us see how things move forward and kind of references keep becoming available.

Hello, and sorry to intrude, but you just used one of my favorite words in a way that is unfamiliar to me! On the Fringe Theories noticeboard, you mentioned "alarmist defenestration." I feel like this word is having quite a moment, though it is likely just me noticing it. That said, I am curious--what does it mean to you here? Note, I am very much a language descriptivist, so I am NOT saying your usage is incorrect. But for me, who pretty strictly associates this word with "something thrown from a window," I am genuinely interested in this use. Do you mean it here as "throwing aside?" @Dumuzid: Greetings, It is fallacious propaganda misleading public at large to think that topic of Superstition ought to be limited to domain of folklore; as if fields of Skepticism, rationality, Human rights and science have no concerns at all.

I used the word 'defenestration' for strongly emphasizing that concerns and authority of domains of Skepticism, rationality, Human rights and science are being thrown aside and usurped for ulterior motives.

And oh ya on Wikipedia uncomfortable sources of cited by opposite side are thrown out of window in similar manner word 'defenestration' connotes

I expected some response to the word since soliciting some response was purpose of applying the word, but I did not expect response from linguistics side and that too so prompt! :)) I know 'defenestration' was not perfect but I wanted some strong word for expression, and that spurt of moment I could not remember any other. Irrational beliefs

Bookku, an article on "Irrational beliefs" would be an important topic for an encyclopedia article. In fact, Wikipedia is a particularly good example of an encyclopedia which could be improved by having such an article. Looking at the draft article, I can see that the complexities of organizing an article on "Irrational beliefs" is proving to be complicated. However, I have a good and useful idea here. Particularly looking at the section "Evolutionary and cultural determinants": here we have two (and I'm certain that there are at least a few more than few more) categories proposed, "anthropological views" and "epistemic rationality". What has worked for me on Wikipedia sometimes in the past is to approach a complex topic by developing a hierarchically arranged group of articles. "Irrational beliefs" would be the main article, the other articles would be supportive and more specialized. Simultaneously developing articles such as (something like) "Anthropological views on irrational beliefs" or "Epistemic rationality and irrational beliefs" or so on would likely be a useful technique as part of a process of an the overall goal of creating a good "Irrational beliefs" article. The approach of doing an major article and several more specialized articles would help to distribute the work in a more efficient way, rather than trying to just do one major and comprehensive article. It may seem counter intuitive that more articles would be easier than one; however, in my experience the best approach may be to simultaneously develop several articles that will link together and support each other, while also allowing somewhat independent development of the topic according to differing disciplinary approaches or other specialized aspects of the general topic. The subject of irrational beliefs should not be ignored, and I look forward toward seeing the fruit of our efforts towards developing a good and useful encyclopedia. Violent extremism in the Nordic countries

Hi, I think your suggestion on writing about violent extremism in the Nordic countries is a sound one - do you have sources that treat the Nordic countries or Scandinavia as a whole? I was already thinking about creating the Violent extremism in Sweden article where I know of a few sources to use. Like this one by Swedish Security Service although written in Swedish. In the past, I fleshed out the Terrorism in Denmark article from a redirect into a standalone article. So far, I've been pursuing a bottom-up method by writing about individual countries as I found sources for those. If you have sources for a top-down method I am happy to do it that way instead. What I am basically suggesting is as strategy. Once the censoring echo chamber knows there are other encyclopedic tools to address issues they will harass lesser.

My obsrvation has been, basically pro censorship echo chambers use WP:Synth and WP:CoatRack as their 'strategy of impediment' even where reliable sources are available; IDK to what extent Wikipedia:Summary style articles are supposed to need sources explicitly covering whole affair.

My second observation is, for an example Finland is a small project where as religion XYZ is project having more attention creates a systemic imbalance against smaller project users edits. So smaller project user need to search balancing some where. Are you getting my point

In any case we don't need explicit sources covering all nordic countries at draft level collaborative entry, we can split that later before taking to main space if needed. I always do invite users for collaboration in writing at drafts and articles. Since because people having skill of writing with proper research like you and me are very few and far between, So we can avoid to be alone and we can focus on writing while others can secure content from censorship. And we can avoid engaging too much in frustrating talk page discussions or even in any revert wars.

Last but not least for example Draft:Women's rights in Muslim societies would be valid article as Summary style article just by importing content from all the related articles. But not surprisingly echo chamber has already opposed possibility of such article for obvious reason. Their love for religion is very phoney.

For example I made a review request for the article Islamic marriage contract or in case of writing on Sufi shrines no one turns up.

So I also will not take Draft:Women's rights in Muslim societies to main article space until I get sufficient assurance that I will not need to waste my time on talk page discussion. I shall rather wait till sufficient other users themselves request to bring the article in mainspace and handle talk page and censorship and revert gaming. I prefer to preserve more of writers time for writing.

There never will be assurance that your time won't be wasted, the only thing that can be done is to not engage with the censors, they really love to write long incoherent responses on talk pages. In so doing, they're wasting their own time. Imho the lesser of two evils is that if an article is moved out of the draft space, then it will at least get read by the public but at the expense of time wasted by the censorship faction. I use the quote field of references to show how the information is relevant, like on this occasion just recently. Nevertheless, I respect your approach and will happily support you in your efforts. Remove the accusation over PM Imran Khan

Its a concern over an accusation upon respectful Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan. Booku has published non researched reason for the increased rate of divorces in Pakistan. This user has been making Russian nationalist edits and calling people who revert his edits as his "opponents". Now they reverted my and other editors' edits at attempting to fix that horrible nationalist POV article calling them "strange edits", and when I undid this act of vandalism it seems they have blamed me for WP:EDITWAR and WP:BATTLEGROUND, which I say is ironic since that's exactly what they have been doing. Personally I do not see any issues with positive nationalism with open minded outlook. Every one has some baby to save and dirty water to point out and that should be okay and not too difficult to deal with if we decide to remain open minded towards each other's reasonable concerns, and we all need that sort of flexibility on platforms like Wikipedia. In global human history as there are achievements and good parts to speak on as there were difficult pain point parts too. Truth and reconciliation is slow but the best process and discussing with references with each other and understanding concerns in Wikipedia perspective will help at least to an extent on this platform, me think so. We few individuals or Wikipedia articles do not make or break neither the history nor the society. Let us negotiate but do not stretch too far.

Let us move on towards content dispute by mentioning say 2–2 difference of opinion on content from each side and see which easier one you can resolve among yourself remaining we can seek help from other expert editors in due course.

I already shifted one edit to Draft:Ex-Muslims of Kerala and notified accordingly to the IP. But did not do the same for second to avoid breach of 3 R from my side and IP also did not revert my removal of the content. And previous removals are also not reinstated by previously active ids (or those are same Idk). So may be initial enthusiasm, we can afford to see as good faith. (I am usually bit liberal too all sides)

Kerala atheism and communist traditions are decades old, since past some months some audio apps on social media have become popular in Kerala and with increased discussions regarding atheism (Most of that is in Malayalam language) and some intermittent new coverage in English media is there . But we will need to see is there any credible coverage in Malayalam language media. Once my get through my travel I will ask for Malayalam assistance from India project talk and Malayalam Wikipedia to ease the issues around. (Since discussion can take lot of time I will do that as I get time from travel)

As far ToI ref, if we keep IP's enthusiasm, and technicalities of opinion piece outside, it seems to be a balanced report taking both sides of the debate into account. (ToI opinion columns are not open to any one but weighted before allowing them to write).

Even Picture file does not show only Jabbar but his debate opponent too so Image plus ref at least do not have neutrality issues, merit wise not too bad. In any case I would have acted after discussing issue @ India project talk If you wish to do it early you can go ahead just taking care of 3R because I do not like any one getting bans in haste.

Couple of points about this comment. May I ask why you pinged Andrewa only in it? This comment is of interest to plenty of users (like me). Please see WP:CANVAS.

Regarding systemic bias in general, I do want to point out a few things. We now have two articles on the intersection between slave concubinage and Islam, but not a single article on its intersection with Christianity. Why is there such a focus on Islam? We also have no articles on slavery in Hinduism or Buddhism (let alone female slavery in these religions). We also have no article on slavery and communism (even though many communist states have practiced forced labor, like USSR, China and North Korea). Are these not examples of systemic bias? a) You are well aware I do my best to maintain consistency across articles (unlike others many others) so I should be last person to present any argument of Whataboutism.

b) I sought advice from Andrewa in his capacity of being admin and aware of discussions there and not to canvass.

Just I wanted to confirm that taking me the issue as to systemic bias at this stage would no amount to forum shopping. So my intention to ping is to be careful on Wikipedia rules and not to break them.

c) Any discussion related to systemic bias will take place at relevant board so there is no question of canvassing at this stage.

d) Then again I did not do hidden ping and initially I thought whether I should seek guidance @ his talk page but just avoided to avoid charge of canvassing.

b) Our first engagement has been @ Talk:Islam in Finland on account of RfC raised by you and intimated at Wikiproject Islam talk page which is in my watch list and where rarely though I do interact. So this interaction started on your invite only. I have taken sufficient breaks on my own in those related discussions. And kept matter only to the content. There is no edit in the article from my side so there is no question of edit war from my side nor any question of hounding.

c) You seem to have triggered by my latest edit @ Talk:SEPTA as proved in below table I am first to reach the article talk page almost 40 days before of your first edits to that article.

d) You will find my old edits @ Talk:Encyclopedia showing my interest in Encyclopedia philosophy side.

e) You will also find me time and again talking about auditing articles for Women's rights issues @ Project Women in Red.

f) I came out with a list of 7 encyclopedic tools to discuss relevance after discussion @ an article talk page (where we have not interacted). I came to Talk:SEPTA developing my set of encyclopedic philosophical argument.

g) You will find that @ Talk:SEPTA I am complaining about article COVID pandemic because I had interacted on COVID related talk pages so my interaction has multiple much older thinking process tracks which I expressed there without you personally being in mind.

In both the article you were involved in article edit side. I have not edited those articles either. I have joined only talk page content discussions.

Coincidental civil interactions at talk pages for content dispute of two articles is too little to think about hounding and all. When we spend good number of hours on Wikipedia some overlapping in areas of interest is bound to happen. With many other users having different views than me I keep coming across much more, no other user has accused me of hounding at least up til now, you are the first one and mostly out of misunderstanding.

I am just a student of South Asian studies. Due to academic training and practice I do understand some languages. Same time at many or rather most times I do take assistance from fellow academicians during my research. For Wikipedia few times translation assistance becomes available but research focus area being different and also if researchers are busy many times assistance is not available for Wikipedia purposes, so for Wikipedia purposes usually I prefer to take linguistic assistance of Wikipedians.

@RegentsPark Through you I would like request the user who approached you, a kind WP:Goodfaith and avoidance of personalizing content disagreement. On WP I have been always reasonably civil and polite. I do not engage in revert wars. I do not personalize issues and just focus on resolving content disagreement on respective talk pages as per WP policies and processes to the best extent I understand.

Some users may have disagreement here and there, which might need talk page discussions focused on content disagreement resolution but most of my content is reasonably sourced. At times some users have had reservations about tone and grammar of some content but usually that is residual effect of sticking around what original source, same time to get out of copyright grammar may be slightly compromised at times. To address these two issues on my own I keep sending copy edit help requests to other users in neutral manner,at times delays too happen, but most times I do get the help, .

I do have progressive POVs and also I am a skeptic (as note on my user page), so it is usual for me to take encyclopedic note of dogmatism and related criticism. Same time I am an inclusivist so wherever possible and sources are available I do take note of even conservative views, or at least put a template on own requesting expansion of the section for conservative opinions or opinions which I have not covered.

I am student of South Asian studies so good amount of focus is around South Asian topics but I have been consistent in doing global coverage as time permits. I have been taking up feminist an women's rights issues in India and Pakistan both and also global. Similarly superstition related issues I have taken for every dogma. Only that some of my drafts got deleted due to six month limitation, I shall revive those as I get time to update them. (If not in big way at least in smaller way I have helped even religious articles of all religions constructively, though I am not fan of dogmatic religiosities. Also, at least in my small ways, I have helped users of diverse South Asian and global background without discriminating)

One problem with superstition related articles is definition of superstition in main article is not getting stabilized. Again in many smaller human communities information sources may be limited. Where better standard of sources are there I give preference to them.

Last but not least I give detail replies to keep record straight, as I have written this reply, but again I am criticized for length of reply, wherever possible I do provide briefs or synopsis of my own replies to avoid inconvenience of users.

After saying all above I am a human after all and my have my limitations, I am respectful and reasonably open to suggestions. Please feel free to suggest. I will also come back to you for your valuable guidance.

Bookku, to clarify the above in case there is any confusion, you only need avoid editing where Pakistan and feminism intersect. Feminism elsewhere (India, etc.) is fine. AFD participation

Hi Bookku, I don't agree with your evaluation in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pullman Flatiron Building, but I appreciate your participating there and reasoning with guidelines. A suggestion, if you're in more AFDs: if you're making a comment without voting, start off with "*Comment" (without the double quote marks). If you're making a "not-vote" (also known as "!vote", which is a vote, really, but an AFD is not a majority voting process), then start off with one specific choice using a standard term such as "*Keep" or "*Merge" or "*Redirect" or "*Delete". If you start off that way, then you can later see how you are doing in AFDs, or at least how well your !votes matched up to final results, using the wp:AFDSTATS tool. For example, see how I am doing recently, which currently shows me making some votes on the diagonal, e.g. 17 recent "keep" votes where the articles were indeed kept, and also some !votes off the diagonal, e.g. one where I chose "merge" yet the result was "keep". The report applied to your username does show your !voting in 8 recent AFDs. But it doesn't show a !vote for you in the not-yet-finished Pullman Flatiron Building one because your !vote is not formatted in a way that the program can read.

@Doncram: WP is encyclopedia and IMO decisions should largely based on rationality and not democratic pressure. Hence my participation in most discussions is limited to comment without expectation of vote getting counted. I try to share rationals upto my understanding, club (i.e. add) in long duration to my list and use for relevant policy improvement discussions in due course of time. Great, it seems to me that you do understand how decisions are supposed to work here. Yes, your comments giving reasoning are helpful, whether or not you put in a "!vote". And some persons dislike the AFD scoring system and other counting systems because they could contribute to editors trying too hard just to get good scores. I do find it helpful though to go back and see my past !votes in AFDs. I am more proud of having had a significant effect in many AFD discussions (where the !voting was going one way, then I came in and commented and it seemed my views influenced other editors and changed the final outcome) than I am about having a good "score". Changing others' opinions is not tallied up by the wp:AFDSTATS tool.

Also, for what it's worth, I am considered an "inclusionist" rather than a "deletionist" here, are you familiar with those terms yet? You can see see that in the AFDSTATS for me, here is report on my last 500 AFDs. I simply am more interested in participating in AFDs where it seems to me that an article can and should be saved. Oh i see on your User page that you consider yourself to be an Exopedian....i don't think I've heard of that before. Oh, hmm, maybe you prefer to be cold and aloof, while my posting here is perhaps too warm and friendly for your taste! @Doncram Sorry for such a delayed reply. When I read, your above comment I smiled and kept quiet for brevity and avoidance of argument.

As an Exopedian certainly I prefer to give precedence to ".. the philosophy of focusing on the encyclopedic side of Wikipedia (articles and related content) .." and less of WP:DRAMA

What you missed is first sentence on my user page which says "Friendly inclusive in me expects far more travelers in the endless journey of encyclopedic endeavors, .."

I am also very much inclusivist in WP terms. Once in a while I participate in discussions beyond political or religious polarized drama since I believe we can discuss non-polarized topics more calmly. Referring to calm non-polarized discussions in policy discussions may help better neutrality.

My impression about Kurdish languages issues is all the countries where it is spoken have tried to assimilate Kurdish people by playing down their linguistic culture. Already many local languages vocabulary is getting lost due to increased usage of bigger international languages. Hence I request to check with older generation and college professors.

i do not want to prove what is not there in Sorani Kurdish and I am not in hurry to bring that draft in main article space. You take your time for proper search and keep me informed. There is no personal aspersion in my statement. Most times systemic biases are inadvertent due to systemic imbalance that is why we use word 'systemic'. You can't be hold responsible if any guideline or policy is not nuanced enough.

• What I can see is inadvertently Appeal to probability taking shape. IMO Indian media houses certainly must be earning from rich Movie celebrities and institutions. But already placed my doubt that Indian classical dancers would have great money to pay for paid news.
• Secondly in 2014 Varadkar's age would be around 53 according to the date given in the article. Usually It's not time of career take off to pay for a news, much less likely when one is facing cancer.
• My perception is even if other spurious citations are dropped at least couple of citations would survive to make at least stub article.

I suppose that was not WP:Tea house but WP:COVID-19 forum since the poem was about Corona virus. Actually I was browsing to see if I can rejuvenate Draft:Humor during the COVID-19 pandemic then I saw poem and just wanted to see if I can take encyclopedic note of. Where possible, within WP policies, I see if I can do a little to accommodate less represented that is the only connection.

I am new to Wikipedia editing and it was my mistake as I was not aware and wrong about the way I had replied to the talk page of User:Sneha996, users like Snehaji and you may be experienced and trained editors...and but they seem not to care about how to be polite to young new editors..they are trying to make a kind of competition with youngsters than making them understand...i feel so disgusting about how adamant she is with young editors like us in making their side always right even the source doesn't support it.

Trying to clean up Anirudh Devgan article

Hello @Bookku, I tried to clear up the Anirudh Devgan article (and don't have any CoI with the subject). I added more refs and key awards, converted several ELs to refs, added descriptions of contributions from refs, added a couple of ELs. Notability is satisfied because Devgan has been IEEE Fellow since 2006, and this is explicitly mentioned as a sufficient condition of notability for scientists. He also has more advanced distinctions that attest to the significance of his contributions to the field. As a separate issue, I don't see the need to keep the CoI banner because the connected editor's contributions have apparently been undone and many others edits were done after that (including my edits). Please read WP:RS. If you are looking for least contentious acceptability then usually look for academic books and papers written by professors. Usually self published books and journals are not accepted as WP:RS.

Usually contentious topics like Biography, medicines, contentious political segments, etc may have higher expectations. Fringe theories, if any, are usually likely to be contested or declined.

More doubts about specific sources can be discussed at WP:RSN. Also WP:Teahouse is place for help to new users.

@Louis P. Boog I suggest not to feel disheartened. Now you have sought inputs at WT:ISLAM, I suggest to wait for 8-10 days to see what inputs you get there. There after, if unsatisfied, you can take the issue at WP:DRN give a week or so for that process. If still unsatisfied go for WP:RFC on the article talk page.

Let me get this straight. You are asking here, on your talk page, for help for Louis P. Boog on how to use the quote= parameter in citations templates, is that right?

The policy regarding these types of quotes is briefly covered at WP:FOOTQUOTE.

The documentation for the parameter is given at Template:Citation#Quote.

In the source editor, using the parameter is straightforward. In the visual editor, under the 'cite' button, you first put in the basic parameters (sometimes just a URL is sufficient to get started), then scroll down the list of fields to find the one named 'Quote', which is a text box you can enter the quote into.

Uninvolved users play an important role in by providing assessment and different and likely more neutral perspective to save admin time. My analysis in comments is policy wise quite relevant, I regret if other users are ignoring it.

I find it very strange you to presume some thing on admin behalf without providing dif of any such specific discussion by any admin. You know most part of my comment was already collapsed. Still in good faith I collapsed one more para after your request. Before reaching to misleading presumption you should have communicated with the admin and requested to close the case. Any ways I made the request to the admin. I wish and strongly suggest henceforth not to repeat presumption on somebody else's behalf. Bookku (talk) 16:24, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
