Speedy deletion of Kelsey Bagwell[edit]

A tag has been placed on Kelsey Bagwell, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. NASCAR Fan24(radio me!) 20:09, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

October 2007[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Alyson Michalka appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Gawaxay 20:35, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I proposed your article for deletion because it doesn't assert the notability or importance of the subject. Please see the notabily policy here. In addition, it appears to be an autobiography, which, as you can see in my previous post, is strongly discouraged. Please do not recreate it again if it is deleted. Also, remember to sign all of your talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). Respond on my talk page if you have any questions. --Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 21:26, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not to discourage your continued contribution, but even as an online encyclopedia, we don't have articles about just anybody on here. To qualify for an article, a person must meet Wikipedia's notability policy and their notability must be asserted in the article. The article that you wrote about Kelsey Bagwell did not make any claims about why she is notable or deserves an encyclopedia article. If a person is determined to be notable enough to have an article, it has to be written in a certain way. One of the key parts of this is writing with a neutral point of view, which is why Wikipedia has a neutral point of view policy. Your article did not conform to this policy. Furthermore, your article violated the copyright of the "About Us" page on [abbyandkelsey.com abbyandkelsey.com], which is illegal. We have very strict rules to follow when it comes to copyright, and there is a Wikipedia copyright policy that details them. If you have any other questions or would like any more help, post another message on my talk page. Please remember to sign all of your talk page posts with four tildes (like this: ~~~~). --Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 13:08, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
