You idiots are pointing fingers and making threats, but I don't even know who Kemal Malovcic is, and I've never even been to Kimora Lee Simmons' page, let alone vandalized it. I don't make ANY edits to Wikipedia for this very reason. Tracking edits based on IP addresses isn't working....You really should try something else.
line break in warnings
Can you take out the br linebreak from the warnings? It most often creates unnecessary breaks in the talk pages. Enigmamsg 04:39, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Monitoring
How do you monitor and restore pages so quick?
Why cant Wikia and related Wikia sites have this?
--Andrew Schlieffen (talk) 19:12, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- The bot uses a real-time feed of changes, looks up all that look interesting, checks for vandalism, and revert if necessary. -- Cobi(t|c|b) 19:33, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Time
I adjusted the time parameter from 90 days to 60 (in hours) that someone had previousley thrown on a talk page.I might be being impatient and it just hasn't made the round yet but thought I might need to make the initial archive manually. Do I need to wait another 60 days for it to kick in? Thanks for the great tool!Cptnono (talk) 09:15, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
CHU
Is this indicative of a bug in ClueBot's programming or is it entirely predictable from something that happened before? I can't make sense of it so I thought I'd come here and make a notice. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 13:09, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- I think I understand now. The bot was responding to a version of the page that was a few seconds old, and had been blanked by someone else. Still, I'll leave this up for you to see. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 13:11, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, the bot grabbed the old version, and was checking the user out and evaluating their request. Then someone reverted the user, the bot added it's tag to it's local version and posted that, overwriting the revert. -- Cobi(t|c|b) 13:39, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi, just a comment
When patrolling recent changes, I rolled back on this page (history shown): [1]
However, when I went to warn the IP involved, I came across this: User_talk:213.94.235.27 showing that ClueBot had warned the IP for me, claiming it was an 'automated edit'. While this may be useful, it is misleading for ClueBot to claim that it had reverted the edit when in fact it had not. -- Casmith_789 (talk) 15:29, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
Cluebot isn't logged in...
It's editing as an IP. → ROUX ₪ 21:10, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
Annoying
I've been trying go on the recent changes page today to undo vandalism but everytime I found vandalism to undo you got there first and left a warning. I appreciate that your just doing your job, but it's getting on my nerves! I've lost at least 10 edits to you today! And who knows how many over my entire time here on Wikipedia! You get on my nerves Mr. 'Bot.
Sorry for the outburst, I just needed to get that off my chest. Good work stopping vandals and such, even if you are getting in my way.

attack page
This bot has a problem recognizing when a page is blanked because it's an attack page. 98.248.33.198 (talk) 04:47, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
Wrong edit
Tried to report a wrong edit but the page was confusing. This edit was incorrect. The IP user was trying to remove vandalism, but ClueBot just reinstated the vandalism. ~~ Dr Dec (Talk) ~~ 10:49, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Duplicate September 2009 sections
I've noticed that the bot has started creating a new "September 2009" section after existing September 2009 sections on talk pages, with the effect of turning back the warning clock to a first warning. --Tryptofish (talk) 17:35, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Run ClueBot on my wiki
Just wondering if it is possible to run ClueBot on my wiki without an IRC Feed? (Also help on setting it up would be nice!) Hintswen Talk | Contribs 00:37, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- ClueBot requires the IRC feed. -- Cobi(t|c|b) 15:45, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Stop vandalism
Hello. Stop vandalism. "Horvat" was reverted automatically by your edits. --Tolkowski (talk) 15:03, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Hidden vandalism
I just reverted some vandalism that probably remained uncorrected because of ClueBot. Here is what happened. There were two anonymous edits in a row to the article on Luciano Pavarotti (first dif second dif). The second, more blatant vandalism was reverted by ClueBot. But it gave the false impression that any recent vandalism was corrected. It wasn't until six days later that I noticed the subtle errors and corrected them. I'm not sure what can be done in these situations. Perhaps a memo in the edit summary that says that there may be more vandalism that ClueBot didn't catch? -- ☑ SamuelWantman 07:04, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Duplicate month headings
I reported this in this talk earlier this month, and I'm reporting it again. The bot is creating new "September 2009" section headings on user talk pages when issuing warnings for vandalism, following existing "September 2009" sections that already contain warnings. As a result, the user may have two or three existing warnings for September, but then the bot resets the clock to a first warning. (I assume this bug will continue in October if not corrected.) Here is one example diff where this has occurred twice for a single IP, but there are probably many others. --Tryptofish (talk) 13:41, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
