Original research[edit]

Take a look at WP:NOR. If you want to make an edit in Number of the Beast about 666 and the human body, you will need a source that discusses both the Number of the Beast and the human body, not just a source that discusses the body. The source needs to meet our criteria at WP:RS. Thanks for your past cooperation on this. Dougweller (talk) 12:12, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

REPLY: Got your message! It's not original research as information of my edit is included in the book - I just read it at a local library(the fifth edition, 1989). You said "I still have a mouth when I close it" - Sorry, my wording was not precise ... it should be "there are only 6 open".

Does your book mention the Number of the Beast? If it doesn't, you can't use it. Dougweller (talk) 13:33, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
REPLY: No, it doesn't. It's a medical book about human body. I thought it's enough ... I won't edit "Number of the Beast" until I have "a source that discusses both the Number of the Beast and the human body". Thanks.
Thanks for understanding. I was told the same thing when I was a new editor. Dougweller (talk) 04:58, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
REPLY: You are welcome!
REPLY: I'm going to make an edit titled "Three Sixes on Head and Hand", and all information is included in the source. "Number of the Beast" is a really important topic, as the Beast is enemy of Son of God. I read Bible a lot and know it's VERY serious. What I'm trying to contribute, is critical information about Number of the Beast - the location of six. While the source doesn't discuss about Number of the Beast, it's sufficient, as I said, all information of this edit is included in the source. Please, understand that the location of six is critical for knowing the Beast. Regards.
REPLY: I want to emphasize these two points: all information of this edit is included in the source; it's very serious and important. Thanks.

Edit warring[edit]

You really are going to have to stop adding that to the article. You can try to convince editors on the article's discussion page, but you don't have WP:Consensus for it and you seem to be trying to WP:Edit war it in. In addition, you are just barely outside of WP:3RR and even if your next edit is technically not within the 24 hours, 3RR isn't just applied literally so take this as a formal warning about 3RR. REPLY: Thanks for the warning! Got it. Yes, I make similar edits, but no more than two edits per day. I thought this is not "edit war" ... I'll "try to convince editors on the article's discussion page". Thank you!
